Girls night out.  Momma's a happy camper!

So, I've been really bad about blogging lately.  Spring was jam-packed with baby snuggling, out of town guests, a quick Mexico getaway and loads of activities.

In April, Michael and I decided to take off for a quick trip to Playa del Carmen while my mom watched the kiddos at our house.  Thankfully Barrett started sleeping through the night earlier that month so we didn't feel bad leaving her at the helm.  The relaxing trip was just what we needed to recharge our batteries and have some quality time together.

When we got back, my dad and grandparents flew out to visit for a week.  We had a ball touring around town, taking them to the lake house and just hanging out.  My Mama and Papa had never seen our house; it was wonderful to show them our life in Dallas and where Landry and Barrett will grow up.

Last week I took the babies to California for ten days while I worked with my client.  They got quality time with Mimi, Papa and their great grandparents.  We holed up at the beach or on the deck any free time I had.  I was really nervous about flying solo with them but it wasn't so bad in reality.  The iPad is a wonderful thing!

Landry and Barrett are changing by the hour these days, it seems.

Landry is really starting to put together sentences and she's a total copy cat.  She's moving a mile a minute and loves to be social.  This week I bought her a bounce house and sand box to occupy her time this summer.  She's loving her new activities (and wakes up saying "bounce house?!" each morning).

Barrett is a stud.  He's only four months and already sitting up and even trying to move around in the walker.  He's a chunk, too!  In two weeks he gained a pound.  We are beyond blessed with this little guy.  He is so sweet, sleeps through the night and hardly stops smiling.  I can't even begin to imagine life without him.

I've stopped taking new clients to enjoy summer with my little family and hopefully kick my feet up a bit.  Happy summer, everyone!
